There is No Universal Acne Cure

Finding 100% pure Rosehip Oil turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be. I’ve been making it myself for a while now thanks to the garden that my old place had but now that I’ve moved into an apartment I unfortunately don’t have any space to have my own herb garden! I know, it’s super sad but thankfully Amazon has exactly what I need. I’ve been using Rosehip Oil for several years now in place of a moisturizer – I couldn’t justify spending the $30 that a good moisturizer typically is going to set you back.

Honestly, I’ve been battling acne since I was fourteen. It’s become part of my life – a very annoying part of my life that I wish I didn’t have to deal with. Since I can’t escape it, I spent a good deal of my life experimenting with different products in the hope that I would find the magic cure that would finally get rid of acne for good. Sadly, I have never been able to find anything that could be considered a universal cleanser. I can’t even begin to tell you how many different creams and washes I had when I was trying to find something that worked.

It wasn’t until a friend of mine turned me onto Rosehip oil and the advice that I should start taking care of my diet more. They found out that the more that they ate cheese the more they had acne! So I did the same, keeping an ‘acne’ journal in order to plot the breaks outs in the context of what kind of foods I had during that day along with some other factors like what I was using to wash my clothes in and such. It really helped me narrow down what could be the cause.
